PAPER JAM

23.10

Exhibition promoted by NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti

10:00–20:00NABANABA’s Communication and Graphic Design area presents the first edition of NABA PAPER JAM, an exhibition of independent editorial projects by NABA students and alumni: magazines, fanzines, posters and illustrated prints, game books, stickers, maps and more.A chance to discover the variety of publishing practices that grow inside the Academy, and to encourage meetings, exchanges and cross-fertilisation with figures in visual communication design within the BIG – Biennale Internazionale Grafica programme.A living ecosystem, an open space of experiment, in which paper is again a ground for research, production and exchange. Not a nostalgic return to analogue, but proof of the vitality of independent publishing — its capacity to invent new languages, build communities and turn ideas into objects to read, look at, collect and share. In the afternoon there will also be a pitch session: selected projects will be presented to a panel of publishing and visual-communication professionals, including Francesca Spiller (founder, Reading Room) and Domenico Liberti (partner, studio FM milano), who will name the winning project at the end of the day.→Subscribe
