Zetafonts is a digital type foundry based in Florence, founded in 2001 by Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini, Francesco Canovaro and Debora Manetti.
Combining the legacy of the rich Italian typographic tradition with a pop approach to global visual culture and its trends, the foundry has over the years created a prolific portfolio of fonts, historical revisits and custom fonts, used by brands and designers around the world.
Zetafonts enhances and promotes typographic culture through the organisation of educational programmes, conferences and courses with its Type Campus and Fight for Kindness initiatives.
NOT ENOUGH BY DESIGN

Talk by Zetafonts with Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini and Debora Manetti11:30
ADI Design Museum
What drives a designer never to settle? “Not Enough by Design” explores the creative tension that pushes a project beyond form, towards sense, intention and meaning. Design and typography become tools for shaping ideas, communicating with greater awareness and leaving a positive trace for the future. A path through ambition, responsibility and doubt, in which impostor syndrome is not necessarily a limit: it can become a drive to experiment, to keep questioning oneself, and to look for new possibilities.
SENSE & SENSIBILITY

Workshop curated by Zetafonts, with Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini16:30–19:00
ADI Design Museum
Ragione & Sentimento is a workshop that aims to guide participants on a fascinating journey between the geometric rigor of shapes and the warm naturalness of handwriting, showing how even seemingly simple characters can reveal surprising emotional nuances.
The art of drawing letters has always moved between a rational, geometric dimension and a more expressive one, tied to calligraphic gesture.
Examining some classics of sans serif drawing – from Futura by Paul Renner to Gill Sans by Eric Gill - the workshop will allow you to learn to distinguish between geometric sans and humanist sans. A subtle but essential distinction to consciously use typographical fonts, in order to influence not only the aesthetic appearance, but also the emotional perception of a text.
