10:30 – 19:45 ADI Design Museum   The graphic “sign” of the historic newspaper of Italian socialism   The Aldo Aniasi Foundation presents the interpretation that sixty artists have given of the A of Avanti! An exhibition, therefore, not on a newspaper, although rich in history, but on a “sign”. The exhibition re-proposes more than 60 works by artists, graphic artists and illustrators who had been called upon to interpret the title of the historical headline of Italian socialism in 1983 for an exhibition organised by the Circolo di via De Amicis: even then a discourse was proposed that clearly surpassed the graphic and pictorial fact. As Aldo Aniasi wrote in the introduction to the exhibition catalogue: "the wide participation confirms the vitality of a sign that has stimulated the imagination and creativity of established artists. All performers with a strong communicative impact".
