Esteban is a designer from Medellín, Colombia, and works at Peter Schmidt Group. He holds a Master's degree in Communication Design from the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg and is mainly involved in visual identity, motion design and web design. His work explores the intersection of creativity and technology, with a particular interest in creative coding and computational design as tools for building visual systems. His work has been recognized by ADC Germany and Slanted and he has given talks dedicated to design, storytelling and code.

10:30 ADI Design Museum Transform, Learn, Liberate is a guide to designing web-based generative design tools through creative coding. Its main objective is to show how designers can develop their own tools and become independent from pre-packaged software dictated by large companies. The guide is also supported by industry use cases and three generative design tools developed over the course of a year: Type Morpher, Flexible Motion Grid, and Rhythmic Glyphs. All tools are freely accessible to anyone. The project received a Bronze ADC Nail and an ADC Recognition, was exhibited at the annual exhibition “20 aus 24” in Hamburg and was published in Slanted's new book, “Digital Tools”.
