Cabaret Typographie is an artistic collective dedicated to handmade graphics and printing, founded in 2010 by Laura Dal Maso, Mauro De Toffol and Tommaso Pucci. Based in Milano at the Atelier di Bonvini 1909 and in Paris, it develops projects that combine typographic experimentation, research and printing with movable type and screen printing. Their works have been exhibited in numerous exhibitions dedicated to contemporary graphics and printing.

10:30–13:00 • 14:00–19:30 Bonvini 1909 Italics – Impressioni italiane is a recognition dedicated to contemporary printing in Italy, born from the collaboration between Cabaret Typographie and Bonvini 1909. The exhibition brings together over forty artists, designers, printers, studios, laboratories and archives who today use letterpress as a tool for research and experimentation. Through a selection of limited edition printed posters, the project returns a map of contemporary practices, recounting the encounter between languages, materials, techniques and design approaches. Italics wants to enhance letterpress not only as a historical and artisanal heritage, but as a living design language, capable of reinterpreting tradition and dialoguing with contemporary visual culture.
